Ruggeri, Angela

I earned my bachelor's degree in Chemistry, my master's degree in Environmental Science–Biology, and my Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership. With more than 25 years of experience in education, I have taught students from Pre-K through high school in a variety of science disciplines. Most recently, I taught high school Biology, Physical Science, and Environmental Science, where I was recognized as a Level 5 teacher for five consecutive years for student growth and instructional excellence. I have also participated in scientific research in both the Amazon rainforest in Brazil and here in Tennessee. My passion is creating engaging, hands-on science experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. My husband, Chris, and I enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with our blended family, which includes six children and six grandchildren. I am excited to continue learning alongside the amazing students at BCMS.
