I have a bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in Secondary Education and a minor in Human Services from the University of Colorado. I am a Colorado native and moved to Tennessee last year. I am the youngest of nine siblings and love to travel over school breaks to visit my family. I also have a cat who keeps me company at home.

This is my fifth-year teaching middle school English Language Arts, and I have also coached volleyball, basketball, and track at both the middle and high school levels. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors, especially when I can explore new trails. My hope is to help students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers while discovering their own voices and confidence.
