My name is JoVonna Tate. I have a master's degree in special education, a Tennessee teaching license with a 460 endorsement, and am highly qualified in all subject areas' grades K-8 with 15 years of instructional experience. I have taught 13 years in a Comprehensive Development Class(CDC) and 2 years in a resource setting. This is my 6th year with Maury County Schools and my 4th at Battle Creek Middle. My teaching Motto: I believe that confidence is the key to success for all students. How we build confidence is by keeping high expectations for all students to do their best in everything they attempt but we also let students know that failure is part of them doing their best and that failure doesn't define you.
