This is my 35th year in education and my fifth year at Battle Creek Middle School. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and my Master's degree in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University and am certified to teach grades 1–8. For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of teaching 5th grade mathematics, and I love helping students navigate the exciting transition from elementary to middle school. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, our three dogs and two cats, reading, hiking, and relaxing on the lake with friends. I look forward to partnering with families to help every student grow and succeed this year.
