My name is Mr. Mullings, and I’m excited to begin my fifth year as an educator and my fourth year at Battle Creek Middle School! After making a successful mid-life career transition, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education from Western Governors University.

My wife and I have been married for 23 years, and we are the proud parents of two children, ages 20 and 13. Originally from the West Coast, our family has called Middle Tennessee home for the past six years, and we’re proud to be part of this community.

My background in coaching youth sports inspired me to pursue a career in education, where I have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students both academically and personally. I’m passionate about creating a classroom environment that is respectful, engaging, and supportive, where every student feels encouraged to grow, take on challenges, and reach their full potential.

I’m looking forward to another great year at BCMS and another opportunity to learn and grow alongside our students. Go Bears! 🐻💙💚
