I am thrilled to begin my 17th year in education and my seventh year teaching math at Battle Creek Middle School. I earned my bachelor's degree in K–6 Interdisciplinary Studies from Middle Tennessee State University and have a passion for helping students build confidence in mathematics. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to do their very best. My husband, Joe, and I have been married for 27 years, and we are proud parents of three amazing children: Aubree, Braden, and Maci. Our home is also filled with our dog, Quinny, and our two cats, Shelby and Scar. I look forward to another exciting year of learning, problem-solving, and discovering that math can be both challenging and fun.
