This is my fifth year in education, and I am excited to teach 5th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. I earned my Associate of Science in Teaching from Columbia State Community College and my Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University. I am currently working toward my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University. In addition to teaching, I have served as the girls' basketball coach for the past three years and am proud to now lead the program as head coach. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, running, working out, traveling, and visiting coffee shops. My husband, Matthew, and I have been married for three years, and I am proud to call Columbia my lifelong home.
