The college I received my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Development was the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My interests include crafting, shopping, travel, walking/gym, hockey, and history. I have been married to my husband for 8 years and have a 10 year old dalmatian/lab mix. I love teaching social studies because not only is focused on my passion for history, but also there is always a historical event that will peak any students interest. In school, I found it hard to focus in social studies until I met the right teacher who made it fun and enjoyable. This grew into a larger love for the subject in my career and personal life. I want to share that love for history with my students and make it as fun and enjoyable as possible.
