Ms. Giordano is excited to begin her fourth year teaching at Battle Creek Middle School. Originally from Connecticut, she pursued her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in Music at Mount Holyoke College, followed by a Master’s degree in Experiential Health & Healing. After several years in New York City, Ms. Giordano moved to Spring Hill in 2015, where she became a certified teacher in Tennessee.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Giordano is a devoted dog mom to Byrdie and Poppy, two very sweet Great Pyrenees mixes. Her passion for animal welfare extends beyond her home; she has been an active volunteer at the Maury County Animal Shelter since 2021, where she walks, trains, and socializes dogs and runs doggie playgroups.
Outside of work, Ms. Giordano enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including yoga, pilates, golf, tennis, and pickleball. She was an All-American springboard diver in both high school and college and also played field hockey and softball at the collegiate level. Her love for music continues as she reflects on her time singing in a cappella groups in high school and college, and writing songs.
Ms. Giordano is looking forward to another fantastic year at Battle Creek Middle School and is eager to share her enthusiasm for learning and growth with her students.
