I am excited to begin my sixth year teaching at Battle Creek Middle School. I earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Music from Mount Holyoke College before completing a master's degree in Experiential Health and Healing. After moving to Tennessee, I became a certified teacher and have loved being part of the Battle Creek community ever since. Originally from Connecticut, I enjoy creating a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Outside of school, I am passionate about dog rescue and volunteer at a local animal shelter. My three rescue dogs—Byrdie, Poppy, and Sugar—keep life interesting! In my free time, I also enjoy golfing, working out, and spending time outdoors.
