Kelley, Ashby

I am proud to serve as a Special Education teacher at Battle Creek Middle School, and this is my seventh year in education. I earned my bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management and Social Work from Middle Tennessee State University before pursuing my master's degree in Special Education from Lipscomb University. Throughout my career, I have worked in both Resource and Comprehensive Development Classroom (CDC) settings, supporting students with diverse learning needs. My passion is helping every student recognize their strengths, build confidence, and reach their fullest potential. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Hunter, our three wonderful children, and our many animals, including three dogs, a horse, and lots of chickens. I look forward to another amazing year of learning and growing alongside my students.
