I am excited to begin my fifth year at Battle Creek Middle School and my sixth year teaching in Tennessee. I earned my bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton, and am currently pursuing my master's degree through Western Governors University. I am passionate about teaching 6th grade Social Studies and believe the best learning happens when students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to grow. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, traveling, discovering great coffee shops, and caring for our small farm and chickens. I look forward to another exciting year of learning, building relationships, and helping my students succeed.
