I have been privileged to serve the students and families of Maury County for more than 30 years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what I love. I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees from Middle Tennessee State University. I am passionate about teaching 6th grade World History and helping students discover how the events of the past have shaped the world we live in today. My goal is to spark curiosity and help students develop an appreciation for history while making meaningful connections to the world around them. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my son, being outdoors, and getting lost in a good book. I look forward to another year of learning, discovery, and growth with my students.
